After every election, the results remain unofficial until they are certified in a bipartisan process known as the Canvass Board.
Comprising the Clerk and Recorder, and one representative each from Arapahoe County’s major political parties, the Board reviews all data from the election and—if satisfied in the conduct and accuracy of the election—signs off to make the results official.
